How SES went from Fun Factory to Trade Show Professionals
Superior Expo Services (SES) continues to grow as an excellent event partner, providing strategic planning, exhibitor services, design and décor, staging, and more. As an extension of their organization, SES aims to provide on-schedule services that exceed expectations at fair prices. Their experienced, service-oriented, proactive staff helps create and execute seamless events while staying under budget without sacrificing customer service.
SES originated from Fun Factory Events (FFE), which was founded in 1986 as a family prop and décor company. Over 22years, FFE grew into an award-winning event planning and production company designing destination programs, special events, and trade shows. FFE acquired SES and another division DMC, combining fun, professionalism, and destination management expertise.
FFE built an excellent reputation delivering strong logistics, creative designs, personal service, and impressive results throughout Texas and across America. What began as a small family business evolved into one of the top event organizations in the country.
The FFE brand family covered every event industry discipline, allowing them to attract Fortune 500 companies and execute any creative vision. In 2009, FFE/SES owner Kenneth Thornton received the prestigious LaVonne Rea Exceptional Customer Service Award for outstanding hospitality service.
In 2014, SES became its own entity and Fun Factory Texas was sold in 2016. With one-on-one accessible service, transparent pricing, seamless communication and rapid response times, and professional, polished, responsible customer service, Superior Expo Services continues the commitment to hospitality and service that earned Thornton the LaVonne Rea award.
